MountainStar Is A Safe Haven
Children 6-months to 4 years see the world differently than the rest of us. What we might see as child abuse and neglect, or simply unstable housing, a child will accept as normal.
MountainStar Family Relief Nursery is a highly visible and highly respected Central Oregon non-profit designed to provide crisis intervention and therapeutic classrooms for babies and young children. These children come from families with an average of 20 risk factors including child abuse and neglect, low income, substance abuse, unstable housing and family violence.
